Kindness was never compatible with mountains.
The greater ancients conquers was mostly like "tamer of the mountains" than climbers. They were considered tamers, not because of the resources, which were rare, but for their eager to conquer inhospitable places.
Nowadays, as better as the resources are apply to conquer a mountain; the adventure is still the most precious resource, especially if it comes from a woman.
